HOW I SUPPORT YOU
Coaching - looking after you
I combine my ICF accredited neurodiversity coaching with experience of parenting a child with complex needs to help you move from firefighting to a calmer, more connected place of parenting.
It is common for people to get stuck inside their stories and perceptions.
I will support you to reach beyond your beliefs, assumptions and fears, helping you find yourself within all the noise.
Change begins to happen when you understand yourself better.
New solutions emerge helping you experience increased confidence across all elements of your life and greater connection to your child.
With daily pressures and conflicts, you can become entrenched in patterns you are not aware of. The coaching sessions bring awareness, create new perspective, possibilities and ways forward.
Alongside understanding your own needs you will identify how to lower your child’s fight/flight response, calming their stress levels as well as your own.
You will learn how to hold boundaries, looking after yourself as well as your child.
Through this process I commit to teaching you how to coach yourself. Skills you will carry for life helping you navigate challenges with greater awareness and effectiveness.
I use the first session to discuss strategies with you. This provides a useful framework to guide the coaching sessions and can include:
-
Managing dysregulation & emotional intensity
-
Prioritising and learning how to let go
-
Language and tone
-
Unlearning authority
-
Declarative language
-
Sensory challenges
-
Managing OCD
-
Food sensitivities
-
Sleep issues
